Accommodation Carlingford at Carlingford Heights

Carlingford Heights is a swiss style lodge with incredible views of Carlingford Lough and the Slieve Foye Mountain. Located within walking distance to Carlingford village centre, approximately 1⁄2 a mile, this lodge is an ideal property to rent.

This spacious property has six bedrooms, two en­suites, one main bathroom and a large open­plan kitchen and living area with a fireplace. There is a large balcony overlooking the Lough and a deck at the front of the property with Mountain views. The balcony is equipped with barbeque facilities, an outdoor fireplace and a swinging chair. The lodge has ample parking facilities and additionally is Wi­Fi connected throughout.

Please note that Carlingford Heights, whilst perfect for parties, is not suitable for events which will involve excessive noise /guest numbers or over­use of the property

Rates

  • €1,600 per weekend Fri/Sat (all year round)
  • €2,200 per week (check in not available on Saturdays)
  • €1050 midweek stay min 3 nights
  • €1750 midweek stay min 5 nights (peak season June/July/Aug)

To secure a booking a €300 deposit will be required.

Balance will be due on arrival.

Confirmation will be sent by email when deposit is received.

The booking deposit is non ­refundable on any cancellation. The full balance is non-refundable if less than 4 weeks notice is given for cancellation.

€300 will cover the damage waiver Security Payment Guarantee.

If the booking is made within 4 weeks of the arrival date 100% of the payment will be processed.

Arrival and departure

Check in is between 4PM and 6PM on arrival and check out is before 12AM on the day of departure.

If you require these times to be changed you will need to pre­book this at least seven days in advance of arrival and we will try our best to accommodate you.

**Damage Waiver Security Payment Guarantee

In addition to the cost of the property there is a €300 damage waiver security. This will only be taken if any of the below occurs during your stay. This will apply up to five working days after your departure.

Details of charges are:

Loss/Damage ­ Any loss or damage incurred to the property or its contents will be charged for at the replacement cost. A full inventory of Carlingford Heights will be left in your guest information pack.

Additional Cleaning ­ Any additional cleaning over and above the normal will be charged for at €25 per hour.

Specialised Cleaning ­ Any specialised sanitising cleaning will be charged for at €50 per hour.

Any additional costs over and above the amount of the Damage Waiver Security

Deposit are to be paid by you on our request.

Personal Belongings:

Carlingford Heights is not responsible for any lost or stolen property. Any items left behind will be kept for a maximum of one month before being donated to St Vincent De Paul.

Pets:

Not permitted at this property

HOUSE RULES:

Please familiarise yourself with our house rules, in particular; capacity, third party services and noise, before making a booking.

Capacity:

Absolute Maximum Capacity Is Fourteen Guests

The maximum number of guests is based on safety regulations, which include regulations on fire escapes. You must absolutely not exceed the maximum number of guests. Breach of this will transfer safety liability issues and any subsequent claims for injury, loss or damage onto you, which you agree to and accept upon booking.

The capacity of the property is classed by us as being able to accommodate 14 adults. The majority of the house is set up to cater for this amount of people.

Third Party Services:

We need to be informed of and agree access to, any third parties you are intending to engage for services in the house during your stay. Any services that we consider will bring disrepute to the reputation of Carlingford Heights will not be permitted.

Noise:

Please be aware that this property is in close proximity to other local residences, and is therefore not suitable for groups engaged in “Noisy” late night parties. Better to know this before you book as you WILL be asked to leave if ANY complaints are received by us from any of our neighbours or other guests.

Your Obligations:

You and all members of your party agree to the following conditions;

  1.  Not to smoke inside the property.
  2.  Comply with the agreed arrival and departure times
  3. Not to exceed the total number of people agreed to in the booking form.
  4. Not to create an atmosphere of noise or nuisance that could have a negative effect on guests or neighbours.

To take good care of the property and leave it in a clean and tidy condition on departure, to the reasonable satisfaction of Carlingford Heights.
